Her main research focus is on Numismatics in its broadest sense, covering its economic, cultural and political aspects. She has published an extensive and comprehensive corpus, <em>La moneda visigoda<\/em> (2 vols., Seville, 2009) and a large number of articles. She has been Fellow 2017-2018 at the Paris Institute for Advanced Study (Paris IAS), hosted by the <em>\u00c8cole Pratique des Hautes \u00c9tudes<\/em> and she has recently been at the Universit\u00e0 di Padova as Visiting Scientist (2018). Currently she is also cooperating in a project based at Princeton University having been a Visiting Fellow in their Classics Department and granted an award by the Firestone Library (2017). Besides this, she has participated in research projects at the <em>Biblioth\u00e8que Nationale de France<\/em>, the <em>\u00c9cole des Hautes \u00c9tudes hispaniques et ib\u00e9riques, <\/em>and Universities of Seville and Malaga, among others.
